Are you passionate about creating opportunities for every learner to thrive?
Tamatea Intermediate is looking for a skilled and experienced kaiako to join our team in 2026 in the exciting new role of Learning Support Co-ordinator.
Our kura is a busy learning community where relationships, inclusion and manaakitanga are at the heart of everything we do.
As our LSC, you'll play a key leadership role in supporting our ākonga with diverse needs. You'll work closely with kaiako, whānau and external agencies to strengthen inclusive practices, build teacher capability and ensure that the right supports are in place for every learner. You'll also walk alongside whānau as they navigate the learning support process, providing guidance, care and advocacy.
We are looking for a registered teacher who brings:
A strong understanding of inclusive education and learning support systems
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to collaborate, influence and inspire others
A genuine commitment to equity and belonging for all ākonga.
