We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking teacher with the ability to connect with adolescents.
We have a vacancy in one of our brand new learning environments leading a team of passionate kaiako. This a permanent position with additional possibilities for leadership, so tell us what your passions and skills are on application!

Part time, Fixed-term
Suitable for beginning teachers
Do you have the ability to build great relationships with rangatahi? Tamatea Intermediate school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant Superstar to join our team. Perhaps you have experience working with children who have learning or special educational needs? We are looking for someone to support our tamariki who require additional learning support. The role could include working 1-1 with students or in small groups.
Do you:
Have a great sense of humour and the ability to work alongside students and teachers to be part of a thriving school community
Have the ability to develop positive relationships with children who need learning or behavioural support
Ability to work independently and use your initiative
Flexibility, professionalism and great work ethic
If you have education experience, and/or a passion to help others with their learning, then this is the job for you!
Our school is committed to giving practical effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Good pronunciation of te reo is preferred, or a willingness to learn.
This is a fixed term ( until 17 December 2024) part time role (22 hours per week) working Monday to Friday from 9am - 1.30pm.
