Term 4 - Year 8 Year 8 camps
Sports Teams
Tamatea Intermediate School offers a variety of opportunities to join a sports team or compete in individual events.
Each year, we take a squad away to the AIMS Games to compete against intermediate students from all over New Zealand. Students also have opportunities to compete in the Inter Intermediate Sports Competition. For inquiries about sport's teams, please email Danie Leonard (Head of Sport) danie.leonard@tamateaint.ac.nz
House Competitions
Tamatea Intermediate has four houses and each year, students are elected to leadership positions to lead these houses. We have full school house carnivals throughout the year for events such as swimming, cross country, athletics, house chants and more!
